CBD(cannabidiol) Shatter Concentrates
In the world of CBD Concentrates, CBD Shatter is one of the most controversial extracts. CBD Shatter is primarily dabbed using a dab rig or dab pen and may be referred to as a ‘cbd dab’ or ‘cbd dabs’. All over the internet you will find CBD companies selling CBD ‘Shatter’. At Sauce Warehouse, we have always sort of cringed when seeing these CBD Shatter concentrates. Sure, a dedicated process is performed to create CBD Shatter, and it is unique from other types of CBD Concentrates. However, 9 times out of 10 CBD Shatter is just CBD Isolate which may or may not have terpenes added for flavor. Why do we find this a bit cringeworthy? Because we come from a background of real, genuine cannabis concentrates. A true full spectrum concentrate extracted from cannabis or hemp is an entirely different experience than CBD Isolate in a jar with some terpenes. These isolate based CBD Shatters are great for those who might be sensitive to THC since they contain zero THC, but many consumers are sort of duped into buying them because of the way they are marketed as real concentrates.
Before purchasing CBD Shatter, it’s important to understand the origins of shatter in the cannabis world and to understand the difference between original shatter concentrates and CBD Shatter.
The Original Shatter Concentrates
Shatter was originally a concentrate only known in the recreational and medical cannabis industry. Shatter is named for its hard, glass-like consistency which tends to crack, or shatter, when broken apart. Cannabis shatter like CBD Shatter is also primarily used with a dab rig or dab pen. Shatter extracted from cannabis is produced using different forms of cannabis plant matter and solvents. This shatter is often translucent, with a color ranging from a golden light honey to a dark amber.
For the most part, all shatter extracted from cannabis has a similar consistency. It will usually look like a hard resin or glass in the concentrate container. In some cases, shatter will appear to be less glass like, and more like a thin brittle layer of butter. The texture and the way true full spectrum shatters react to manipulation can differ between individual shatter concentrates. Some shatter products are extremely brittle while others have a snap & pull quality almost like taffy. These taffy like shatter concentrates are referred to as ‘pull & snap’. These unique characteristics are in part a result of the cannabinoid concentrations within the extract.
Shatter high in THCA will be more brittle and glassier, while shatter that is higher in Delta-9 THC will be more oil like with a sappy consistency. Of course, when introduced to freezing temperatures Delta-9 rich shatter will become brittle like the high THCA shatter.
The History of Shatter
Although shatter extracts have been around for quite some time now, they are relatively new when looking at the larger timeline of cannabis consumption methods. Shatter concentrates have their roots in hashish production, a method of producing a different type of cannabis concentrate that has been around for ages. This process evolved over time as new ideas were tried and tested, discoveries were made, and in the late 1990’s the cannabis community saw shatter concentrates for the first time.
Cannabis Alchemy: The Art of Modern Hashmaking was published by author D. Gold in 1989 which included the first in depth explanation of how to make hash. Just a year later in 1990, Michael Starks, a medical technologist, published Marijuana Chemistry: Genetics Processing and Potency, with another in depth look at the hash making process.
In the late 1990s, BudderKing, a Canadian hash maker, was the first to market budder and shatter which became available in dispensaries around 2003. Soon after this in 2005, Cannabis Culture magazine published the special techniques used in the shatter making process. By 2010, shatter as we know it had become a mainstream product in the cannabis community. Shatter concentrates have remained a popular item in legal and illegal markets ever since.
What is CBD shatter?
Now that we have covered the true shatter concentrates that were first extracted from high THC cannabis flower, let’s discuss CBD Shatter. Unlike shatter extracted from cannabis, which is high in THC, CBD Shatter is high in CBD and whenever CBD Shatter is found in a legal marketplace, it will contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC. For the most part, 99.9% of CBD Shatter on the market contains zero THC. There are a few reasons for this.
CBD Shatter was the first type of CBD Concentrate product to hit the market when CBD started to gain more popularity over a decade ago. What likely made CBD Shatter such a common product for CBD Companies to manufacture is the abundance of CBD Isolate and the relatively easy and cost-effective ways it could be manipulated into CBD Shatter. This is why it is important to know your source when buying isolate-based CBD Shatter. There is no way to know the quality of material used to extract CBD Isolate, and many companies who sell CBD Shatter are not concerned with the quality of their materials. Cheap, low quality CBD Isolate is often used with low quality and sometimes even synthetic terpenes to create a gimmicky CBD Shatter concentrate product in the hopes consumers will overlook the fact that it is completely fake! This occurs frequently with CBD Crumble and CBD Wax as well.
Luckily, Sauce Warehouse was created to offer quality CBD Concentrates produced by only the best companies in the industry. We have vetted essentially every single CBD concentrate producing company and have chosen only the best companies and their best products to be part of our collection.
Another reason why isolate based CBD Shatter was likely the first type of CBD Concentrate to hit the market is the compliance factor. When creating a concentrate that is primarily made using CBD Isolate, legal compliance with Delta-9 THC limit of less than 0.3% THC is essentially guaranteed. There are very few full spectrum CBD Shatters on the market, and this is due to a higher cost for production but also due to the fact that compliant concentrates are much harder to guarantee when they are whole plant extracts.
Isolate based CBD shatter is generally marketed to consumers who desire the medicinal and therapeutic benefits of CBD, without the psychoactive effects of THC. But as we mentioned previously, there are many companies out there that try to take advantage of those who just enjoy dabbing concentrates, by adding catchy terpene profiles to bunk isolate based CBD Concentrates. Don’t fall for it! If you want to use isolate based concentrates, purchase them from a reputable vendor such as Sauce Warehouse. Alternatively, you may want to consider trying a true full spectrum CBD concentrate such as CBD Live Resin, or solventless CBD Rosin. These whole plant extracts offer a much better flavor and a full profile of beneficial cannabinoids. We have both isolate-based CBD Shatter and true full spectrum CBD Shatter available here at Sauce Warehouse.
Isolate-Based CBD Shatter vs. Full Spectrum CBD Shatter
There are a few types of CBD Shatter you may come across on the market today, Isolate-Based CBD Shatter, Broad Spectrum CBD Shatter, and Full Spectrum CBD Shatter. Let’s look at the differences between these CBD Concentrates.
Isolate-Based Shatter is the type of shatter we have just discussed. This CBD Isolate based CBD Shatter contains only CBD and added terpenes for flavor. This shatter will contain zero THC and is a good option for those sensitive to THC or those who can’t use THC because they are required to pass a drug test.
Broad Spectrum CBD Shatter is not as common as Isolate-Based CBD Shatter, but it is similar. Broad Spectrum CBD Shatter is essentially the same as an isolate based shatter, except minor cannabinoids are added to the isolate and terpene mixture in order to create a broad spectrum cannabinoid profile. This type of CBD Shatter concentrate is great for those who can’t use THC but still want to experience the entourage effect produced by using different cannabinoids together.
Full Spectrum CBD Shatter is rare. Especially True Full Spectrum CBD Shatter. There are a few CBD Shatter products out there that are created using Full Spectrum CBD Distillate mixed with terpenes. While these do have a full spectrum cannabinoid profile, they are not ‘True Full Spectrum’ because the cannabinoids and terpenes are not directly extracted from a single source plant material. These shatter products will usually look fairly similar to a whole plant extracted CBD Shatter, but the taste and effect will not be as strong or enjoyable.
True Full Spectrum CBD Shatter is CBD Shatter that has been extracted directly from hemp flower or other hemp plant material. This type of CBD Shatter will look very similar to regular cannabis shatter and may even be indistinguishable from shatter you find in cannabis dispensaries. However, because this shatter is difficult to produce with THC levels within the legal limit, it is a very rare CBD Concentrate on the current market.
Use Caution When Using Full Spectrum CBD Shatter
If you are sensitive to THC, please use caution when using Full Spectrum CBD Shatter and other Full Spectrum CBD Concentrates. Many consumers make the mistake of thinking small amounts of THC under .3% cannot have a psychoactive effect or produce a high, but this is far from the truth. Even this small amount of THC in users with no tolerance or those who are sensitive to THC can cause just as much intoxication as high THC products do in users with a tolerance for THC. Anxiety and paranoia are common side effects for those who find themselves sensitive to THC. When using Full Spectrum concentrates, it is best to start with low doses and to space these doses apart until you are familiar with the effects.
Again, this is only cautionary. Many consumers, even some who may have been sensitive to THC in the past, find in time that THC seems to provide some sort of benefit. Taking things slow and experimenting is the best way to find out what dosages and products are right for you.
How is CBD Shatter Made?
The method used to produce CBD Shatter depends entirely upon which type of CBD Shatter is being discussed.
Isolate based CBD Shatter is made a few different ways. One popular method is to melt CBD Isolate down into terpenes and then place this mixture into a vacuum oven to create a slab of CBD Shatter. Alternatively, other manufacturers will simply press this mixture between two heated plates for a very short amount of time resulting in a similar CBD Shatter product. There are surely other methods and techniques used across the industry, but the general concept and ingredients remain the same.
Broad Spectrum CBD Shatter will involve a very a similar process, except minor cannabinoid isolates will be included in the mixture. In some cases, a broad spectrum distillate will be used to introduce the other minor cannabinoids as an alternative to using CBD Isolate and separate minor cannabinoid isolates. Full Spectrum CBD Shatter that hasn’t been extracted directly from hemp plant material will be produced using this same process as well, using full spectrum CBD Distillate of course.
True Full Spectrum CBD Shatter is produced in the same way regular high THC cannabis shatter is produced. Typically, the process will involve the use of butane or other hydrocarbon solvents. Butane extracts are popularly known as BHO dabs or BHO concentrates. ‘BHO’ stands for butane hash oil. To make BHO CBD Concentrates, CBD Hemp Flower buds, trim, hash, or kief is contained in a tube which the butane or other hydrocarbons are then pushed through. The solvent blasts through the plant material, stripping away desirable cannabinoids and terpenes. A concentrated oil is then collected and in some cases this oil may be refined further using additional processes. “Purging” is one of these additional processes some concentrates go through. Purging is the removal of excess residual solvents using evaporation or a vacuum chamber. Another process called “winterization” refers to the removal of plant fats, waxes, and lipids from the oil.
These hydrocarbon extractions are much more labor intensive and truly require a skilled professional who has a respect for the art of cannabis and hemp extraction. Hemp extracts made using these processes that extract cannabinoids and terpenes directly from hemp are of the highest quality in the industry and provide the best experience possible.
What Is CBD Isolate?
CBD isolate is typically a fine white powder but may also be found in larger crystals. CBD Isolate is commonly used in the manufacturing of many different CBD products across the industry. One of the more common uses is in CBD gummies and other CBD edible products. When it comes to CBD Concentrates, CBD Isolate is frequently used as a base ingredient, but it can also be dabbed all by itself for a high dose of CBD with immediate effects.
CBD isolate is the purest form of concentrated CBD on the market. All other cannabinoids and plant materials have been stripped away leaving behind only one molecule, Cannabidiol.
CBD Isolate when used by itself has no psychoactive effects and does not produce a high. Some may report feeling a body high or relaxation, but these effects are simply a result of the muscle relaxing and stress relieving properties of the Cannabidiol.
How is CBD Isolate Made?
To produce CBD isolate, a full spectrum distillate is first extracted from hemp plants. This distillate is then winterized to remove any plant lipids, fats, and waxes. Gradually all the other cannabinoids present in this distillate are removed using special filtration and processing techniques. In the end all that remains is the CBD isolate which is usually around 90% pure CBD.
Why Use CBD Shatter?
Since CBD Concentrates like CBD Shatter contain such a highly concentrated amount of CBD, they provide medical marijuana patients and other consumers interested in the benefits of CBD a cost-effective way to consume CBD. Not only has CBD been found to be beneficial, but terpenes also have been studied and found to have numerous potential benefits. Medical marijuana patients are some of our most frequent customers here at Sauce Warehouse because of the high prices placed on CBD Concentrates in medical dispensaries. Sauce Warehouse aims to keep prices affordable, and we also will match any price if you find a concentrate for less somewhere else!
CBD Shatter is also a great choice for those looking to cut back on THC, or even those who wish to quite using cannabis and THC altogether. Whether you are taking a tolerance break or quitting cannabis, stopping the use of THC cold turkey can be a challenging experience. Dabbing CBD Concentrates like CBD Shatter can help you slowly cut back on your usage of high THC products while maintaining your normal daily routine. Dabbing CBD Shatter can remove THC from your cannabis consumption rituals while allowing you to continue enjoying these rituals and the many other cannabinoids that offer beneficial support.
If you are looking for a stable concentrate to use on the go in a dab pen, CBD Shatter can be one of the better options out there. Because it is easily broken into small pieces, it might be easier to place small pieces of shatter in your concentrate vaporizer using a dab tool than it would be to try and use a more viscous CBD Concentrate. This is especially true when you are out and about and must load your dab pen quickly and discreetly. However, it is best to break the shatter apart while at home to avoid losing any concentrate. Sometimes shatter will break apart unpredictably and pieces can jump out of the container!
How to Use CBD SHATTER
CBD Shatter is usually vaporized using a dab pen or a dab rig, but it can also be placed on top of a bowl of flower or rolled into a blunt or joint.
Dab Pens
Dab Pens, or portable concentrate vaporizers, feature a chamber that is heated by pressing a button on the side of the pen. CBD Concentrates are placed in this chamber and when heated they produce a vapor which is then inhaled. Dab Pens provide an efficient way to consume hemp extracts and CBD concentrates while on the go and in situations where using a dab rig isn’t practical. Dab Pens are also great for using CBD Shatter in moments where discretion is necessary. CBD Concentrates are often odorless when vaporized, especially if they are isolate based or broad spectrum. When used in a Dab Pen, its unlikely anyone would know what was being consumed.
Dab Rigs
Dab Rigs are typically glass water pipes that feature an attachment known as a banger, bucket, or nail. These bangers are either quartz or titanium and are heated using a butane torch, or an e-nail. E-nails provide consistent heat to the banger using a coil that attaches to the banger itself. An electronic controller is attached to the coil allowing the desired temperature to be set and monitored. When using a butane torch to heat your banger, it is essential to use timers or simply count down in your head after heating to ensure the banger has time to cool to the optimal temperature. If the banger is too hot it will destroy terpenes and ruin your dabbing experience!
Once the banger is heated, a dab tool is used to take a dab of CBD Shatter from the concentrate jar and place it inside the banger. This is done while inhaling through the rig, so that the vapor produced is inhaled after being filtered through the water.
Vaporizing CBD Concentrates, especially concentrates like Isolate-Based CBD Shatter with a high CBD concentration, is the quickest and most efficient way to consume high doses of CBD. This is because of the inhaled vapor being absorbed into the bloodstream much quicker than CBD and other cannabinoids can be absorbed using any other consumption method.
Other Methods of Using CBD Shatter
Other options for consuming CBD Shatter include placing the shatter on top of a bowl of flower or rolling the shatter into a blunt or a joint. If placing onto a bowl of flower, you may find the taste to be stronger if you sandwich the CBD Shatter between two layers of flower so that your flame doesn’t immediately destroy the terpenes. If you would like to place shatter in a joint but you are unable to roll your own, you can always purchase CBD Pre Rolls and place the shatter in the end of the pre roll. Some of the flower may be removed, the CBD Shatter placed inside the CBD Pre Roll, and then flower can be re-packed.
Alternatively, if vaporizing or smoking is not a preferred option, CBD Shatter can be added to food and drink as well. On every product page here at Sauce Warehouse we have instructions for making edibles with CBD Concentrates. It’s quite simple and anyone can infuse their favorite recipes right at home!
Can I Eat CBD Shatter?
Absolutely. However, you will first need to check your CBD Shatter’s COA to make sure most of the CBD content is really CBD and not CBDa. CBDa, or cannabidiolic acid, requires decarboxylation before it can be digested by the body. Decarboxylation is the activation of compounds through heat. This process essentially converts CBDa to CBD. This form of concentrate is most efficiently consumed using a dab rig, e-rig, dab pen, or with flower, which decarboxylates the cannabinoids so they can properly bind with our endocannabinoid system. Consuming CBDa rich shatter without decarboxylating is likely to produce zero effect. And, quite frankly, one of the most common reports we hear even from those who do ingest decarboxylated CBDa, is that CBD edibles just don’t work as well. Eating CBD seems to require much larger doses and the effects are minimal compared to those experienced when CBD is vaporized.
What Are the Ideal Storage Conditions for CBD Shatter?
All CBD Concentrates are at risk of losing terpene and cannabinoid content when stored improperly. This will result in both a loss of flavor and potency. To prevent this loss, CBD Shatter and other concentrates should be stored in an airtight container, preferably a container that won’t allow light to reach the concentrate. This container should be stored in a cool, dark place. A mini fridge referred to as a ‘terp cooler’ or even a regular old fridge are both commonly used storage spaces used by CBD Concentrate users. So long as the concentrate is kept out of contact with high temperatures, ultraviolet light, direct sunlight, moisture, and oxygen, it should have a relatively long shelf life.
What is the Difference Between CBD Shatter and CBD Wax?
CBD Shatter is most often a hard and glassy concentrate. CBD Wax on the other hand is a more malleable, softer concentrate. This is the primary difference, and it is essentially purely cosmetic. When it comes to full spectrum CBD Concentrates, CBD Shatter maintains a glassy consistency because the molecules in the concentrate go undisturbed during the extraction process, while the molecules in CBD Wax are often agitated. As far as broad spectrum CBD Concentrates go, the cosmetic differences in appearance are quite literally manufactured to mimic the appearances of the full spectrum consistencies.
When comparing CBD Shatter and CBD Wax, one is not necessarily more potent than the other. In some cases, this may be the case but there is certainly no trend of one being stronger. As always, the best way to find the potency of any CBD Concentrate or Hemp Extract is to refer to the lab results. These are available on every product page here at Sauce Warehouse.
A common observation that may set CBD Shatter apart from CBD Wax is that CBD Wax is sometimes easier to handle using a dab tool and thus a better option for dab pens and on the go use. CBD Shatter tends to break apart in unpredictable ways and this can be a problem if you are in a hurry or unable to sit down and be very precise.
The Entourage Effect
‘The Entourage Effect’ is a theory which suggests CBD is more effective when used together with all the other cannabinoids present in hemp. Studies have been done that strongly support this theory. The use of terpenes along with a full spectrum of cannabinoids is also thought to amplify this entourage effect. Isolate based CBD Shatter will not provide the experience of the entourage effect unfortunately. Broad Spectrum CBD Shatter will provide a slightly less powerful entourage effect compared to Full Spectrum CBD Shatter. And of course, True Full Spectrum CBD Shatter will likely produce a much stronger entourage effect than Full Spectrum CBD Shatter that was made using full spectrum CBD Distillate. This is due to the naturally occurring cannabinoids and terpenes present in high concentrations.
CBD Dabs
Dabbing, taking CBD Dabs, these are references to the use of a dab rig to vaporize CBD Concentrates. This is the most popular method of consumption for Hemp Extracts and concentrates. This involves taking a small amount of CBD extracted concentrate, a ‘dab’, and placing it on a heated dab rig attachment called a nail, bucket, or banger. This heated attachment quickly vaporizes the CBD Concentrate and the vapor produced is inhaled, usually through water inside of the dab rig. Some may refer to dab rigs as oil rigs, and other labels exist for similar devices used specifically for concentrates like e-rigs, dab spoons, nectar collectors, e-nails, etc. There are always new and innovative methods for consuming CBD Concentrates becoming available! These provide the quickest and most efficient ways to consume CBD and other cannabinoids & terpenes.
What Are CBD Concentrates?
CBD concentrates are similar to traditional THC concentrates, but instead of being extracted from high THC cannabis plants, they are extracted from low THC cannabis plants, or as we call them for legal purposes, hemp plants. CBD Concentrates are also sometimes made by mixing CBD Isolates and CBD Distillates with other minor cannabinoids and terpenes to create THC Free CBD Concentrates.
Some users add these CBD Dabs to their recreational or medical THC concentrates for a more balanced effect. Sauce Warehouse is a preferred vendor for these users because we offer CBD Concentrates and Hemp Extracts at a much lower price than recreational and medical dispensaries.
At the end of the day, CBD Concentrates provide the quickest and most efficient absorption of CBD into the bloodstream when dabbed than any other method of CBD consumption. Sauce Warehouse is proud to offer more CBD Concentrate product options than any other vendor, period!
Interested in Dabbing CBD Shatter or Other CBD Concentrates from Sauce Warehouse?
Here are some essential Dab Accessories you will need:
1. Dab Rig or Dab Pen
A dab rig is essential for any serious concentrate connoisseur. These water pipes allow for cool water filtration of vapor, and if you purchase a smaller rig meant to preserve terpene profiles like those made by MJ Arsenal, you will enjoy better flavor compared to a dab pen or other methods of use.
Dab pens are better if you will mainly be using CBD Concentrates on the go or in situations where you need to be discreet about dabbing.
2. Butane Torch or E-nail
If you are going with a dab pen, you can skip to the next essential item. But if you are using a dab rig, you are going to need a heat source! The cheapest solution is a butane torch. Butane torches as the name implies are fueled by butane that can be purchased at pretty much any gas station these days. You want to make sure the butane torch itself is of high quality. Many torches out there are made with cheap materials and will not last very long. Sauce Warehouse carries high quality butane torches from trusted companies like Blazer Torches and Maven Torches. When using a torch, you may also want to invest in a small tabletop timer so you can time your dabs to be taken at the perfect temperature. Generally, you want to wait about 40-50 seconds after heating your banger until it is red hot.
E-nails are another option for heating your banger. These devices feature a controller box that plugs in to the wall and allows you to set a desired temperature to be maintained throughout your entire dab session. A coil that is attached to this controller box fits snugly around your banger to keep it at a consistent temperature. E-nails are good investments for those who dab daily and often, as buying butane to refill a torch can get costly when refills are needed frequently.
Sauce Warehouse has organization stations available for purchase that not only hold q-tips and isopropyl alcohol for cleaning your banger, but they also feature built in dab timers! These are perfect for keeping your dab sessions organized, clean, and enjoyable.
There are some cool new rigs out on the market now that feature a built-in temperature control system. These rigs are called ‘e-rigs’. Popular brands like PuffCo make these e-rigs and they have become a big hit within the cannabis community. CBD Concentrates can be used in these rigs without the need for a butane torch or an e-nail. Most of these devices are chargeable with built in batteries like a cell phone.
3. Dab Tools
Dab tools are used to remove ‘dabs’ of CBD Concentrates from their containers and place them inside dab pens and heated bangers when using a dab rig. It is important to purchase only quality dab tools from trusted vendors as cheaper tools made overseas may contain toxic coatings that could potentially burn off into your concentrates when inhaling and cause health concerns. These tools are usually glass or stainless steel, any tools with odd coatings especially paint should be avoided at all costs.
There is a plethora of other Dabbing Accessories that you might eventually want to invest in, such as dab pads which are used to set dab rigs on, but the above accessories are the primary essentials that will allow you to begin dabbing CBD Concentrates with ease.
Other Types of CBD Concentrates Available at Sauce Warehouse
CBD Wax
CBD Wax is another form of CBD Concentrate that tends to have a waxy consistency. CBD Wax is also available in both broad spectrum and full spectrum options. For those sensitive to THC, broad spectrum CBD Wax will be the best choice. But for those who are looking to experience full terpene profiles and the entourage effect, Sauce Warehouse carries Full Spectrum CBD BHO Wax that is delicious and very potent.
The processes used to make CBD Wax are very similar for both broad and full spectrum options to the processes used in making CBD Shatter. The major difference is the use of CBD Distillates and minor cannabinoid distillates when making broad spectrum CBD Wax. Instead of using CBD Isolate, distillate is used to create the ‘waxy’ texture.
CBD Live Resin
CBD Live Resin is made using hemp plants that are frozen immediately after they have been harvested. Traditional drying and curing methods can destroy up to 90% of a plant’s terpene content, due to the light, heat, and oxidization that occurs. By immediately freezing hemp plants, cannabinoids and terpenes are preserved and kept ‘alive’. C02 or other hydrocarbons are then used to extract these live terpenes and cannabinoids and the concentrate that results from this extraction process is referred to as ‘live resin’. CBD Live Resin is one of the most potent & flavorful types of concentrates the market due to the preservation of terpenes and cannabinoids in the material it is extracted from.
CBD Crumble
CBD Crumble is a crumbly concentrate that has a higher resistance to mold than other types of CBD Concentrates. This is because crumble is typically much dryer than waxes, live resins, and shatters. Crumble exists in both full spectrum and broad-spectrum options. Full Spectrum CBD Crumble is produced with hydrocarbon extraction processes and contains the full spectrum of cannabinoids and natural terpenes. Broad Spectrum CBD Crumble is made using a similar process to Broad Spectrum CBD Wax however, more isolate is used than distillate to provide the dry and crumbly texture.
CBD Sauce
CBD Sauce is very similar to Isolate-Based CBD Shatter in terms of cannabinoid and terpene content. Instead of using crystalized CBD Shatter, makers of CBD Sauce use powder CBD Isolate and mix in terpenes. A slushy type of consistency is most common with these CBD Sauce’s but in some cases CBD distillate is used in place of isolate to create a more liquid CBD Sauce. CBD Sauce in this liquid form is great for spreading on joints or blunts but not the best choice for dabbing unless mixed with a more stable type of CBD Concentrate. This is because the liquid sauce can be difficult to place in a heated banger or dab pen.
As you can see, CBD Wax is only one of the many other types of CBD Concentrates and Hemp Extracts offered by Sauce Warehouse. CBD Live Resin, CBD Rosin, CBD Crumble, and CBD Terp Sauce are also popular concentrates that many consumers return to Sauce Warehouse to purchase. Sauce Warehouse has the most diverse hemp & CBD concentrate collection on the web. Our concentrate menu at saucewarehouse.com is constantly being stocked with new and unique full spectrum hemp extracts. We’re sure you will find something you enjoy!
