More Info

The Tropical Blast hemp strain is a hybrid cultivar of unknown genetic origins, though it is suspected to have ACDC genetics in its lineage.

Tropical Blast hemp flower buds have a tight structure and an intense aroma. With a name like Tropical Blast, it is no surprise that the terpene profile consists of citrusy berry notes with undertones of hops.

Primary terpenes include:

Myrcene: This terpene is found in hops & fruits like mangos. If you enjoy the ‘peppery’ finish in craft beers, you can thank Myrcene. Research has shown this terpene may be useful as an anti-inflammatory.

Farnesene: Found in the skin of green apples, sandalwood, cedarwood, hops, turmeric, grapefruit, potatoes, gardenias, myrrh, ginger, and patchouli! Thought to be responsible for the calming & soothing effects of cannabis. Studies have found this terpene to be an effective muscle relaxer, with potential for use as an anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antibacterial. More recent studies have even shown that Farnesene may help in preventing tooth decay.

Limonene: d-Limonene is the main chemical form, found in the rinds of citrus fruits, such as lemons, limes, and oranges. It is most concentrated in oranges and makes up around 97% of the essential oils found in orange peels. Limonene is one of the most common terpenes found in nature and has several potential health benefits. These include anti-inflammatory, anti-stress, and antioxidant properties which may aid in the prevention of disease.

At around 16% CBD and 20% total cannabinoids Tropical Blast CBD flower provides potent effects in addition to robust flavor. This a well-balanced hybrid strain that is uplifting & great for promoting a sense of calm and comfort.

Tropical Blast CBD wax is extracted using a hydrocarbon extraction process which separates cannabinoids and terpenes from indoor Tropical Blast hemp flower. The hemp extract that results is a clean waxy concentrate that is rich in cannabinoid and terpene content.

While some CBD waxes are very sticky and have a honey-like consistency, this Tropical Blast wax has a consistency closer to the traditional wax found in medical and recreational cannabis dispensaries. It is moist, and even a bit saucy in some cases, but it is also lighter and less sticky than some of the thicker BHO wax that we offer here at Sauce Warehouse.

With a unique terpene profile consisting of aromatic notes of citrus and berries, this wax has plenty of flavor and is sure to satisfy the terpene enthusiasts as well as the amateur CBD concentrate user.

The high cannabinoid content of the flower which has been concentrated into this wax provides potent effects and makes this Tropical Blast wax a great option for those who are looking to consume large doses of CBD quickly and easily. High CBD concentrates such as this wax are one of the most cost-effective forms of CBD on the market.

If you haven’t tried CBD wax before and are curious, this is a great concentrate to start with!

If you are new to the world of cannabis & hemp concentrates, CBD wax is a form of cannabis concentrate or hemp extract. Due to its heightened potency, CBD wax is becoming increasingly popular.

Unlike CBD gummies and other CBD products, CBD concentrates allow you to ingest a much smaller volume while getting a much higher dose. This is because CBD concentrates contain such highly concentrated amounts of CBD.

In short, with CBD wax you can consume much less to get the results you are looking for.

CBD wax is created using either a hydrocarbon extraction process or a CO2 extraction process. Hydrocarbon extraction is without a doubt the most popular within the hemp industry, but some argue CO2 extractions are cleaner. In either case, a solvent is used to strip the desirable cannabinoids and terpenes from hemp flower which results in a highly concentrated extract. These solvents are then purged from the extract leaving behind what is often a golden waxy oil that is rich in terpenes and cannabinoids.

Wax can vary in consistency from thick honey to dry, light and airy. The color can vary as well depending on the extraction method, the strain of the extraction material, and the quality of the extraction material. Most wax is golden yellow to deep orange, but the color can also be lighter or darker.

While there are many ways to use CBD wax, the most popular by far is dabbing. The term “dabbing” is a reference to the fact that only a “dab” of wax is needed to experience the desired effects. It’s important to start with small doses or “dabs” and work your way up when using CBD concentrates. You can always use more but you can never use less!

Before jumping into your first dab, let’s look at the different methods of using CBD wax.

Dabbing

As we previously mentioned, dabbing is the most common method. For those who are new to using concentrates, dabbing can seem quite intimidating. However, with just a bit of practice it becomes very simple.

Dabbing is just another word for vaporizing. Concentrates are introduced to high heat which converts them into a vapor. This vapor is then inhaled to produce near immediate effects.

Dab rigs are the tool of choice when it comes to dabbing. If you are familiar with a traditional bong used for smoking cannabis, dab rigs are essentially the same thing but instead of a bowl for flower they feature a nail. These nail attachments, also called bangers, are heated using a torch before a dab of concentrate is placed inside of them. A vapor is produced and inhaled through the dab rig, often being filtered through water on its way through the rig.

Bongs

If you are more familiar with using a traditional bong, CBD wax can also be used this way. Simply load up your bowl with flower and place some wax over the top of the flower or sandwiched in-between layers of flower. Spark your bowl as you normally would and enjoy!

Vaporizing/Dab Pen

Probably the most second popular choice next to dab rigs. Vape pens, or dab pens, can be taken with you anywhere you go and offer a certain level of discreetness as well. There are plenty of affordable portable vaporizers on the market that are made specifically for concentrates. The thing to look for when buying dab pens is variable heat control which will allow you to adjust the heat being applied to your concentrates. You also want to choose a vaporizer with a ceramic heating chamber with titanium coils, or quartz crystal coils.

Eating it Plain/Topicals

You can also just eat your CBD wax as it is! You’ll want to check the COA to see if your wax contains primarily CBD or CBDa, if CBDa you will need to decarb the wax before ingesting. Alternatively, you can mix CBD wax into your favorite topicals.
