Isolates are made up of an isolated cannabinoid that has been separated from the other cannabinoids present in hemp and all the plant material.  These Isolates are generally the most concentrated CBD Concentrates you will find.  At Sauce Warehouse we carry many kinds of Cannabinoid Isolates including CBD Isolate, CBG Isolate, and of course CBN Isolate.  CBN Isolate is generally at least 90% pure Cannabinol (CBN), and it is almost always a fine white powder.  CBN Isolate can be used for many reasons, some of which are highly debated! CBN is known as the nighttime cannabinoid because of a popular association between CBN and sedative effects.  This association was born out of the effects noticed when smoking older cannabis.  Older cannabis is rich in CBN because THC as it degrades converts into CBN itself.  Because older cannabis has such a high amount of CBN, the assumption was made that it must be the CBN causing the sedative effect.   More recently, however, it has been debated that the studies done on CBN have been too few and unreliable.  Many claim that CBN has not been proven to have sedative effects while others still seek out CBN for help with issues like insomnia.  One claim is that CBN increases the potency of THC, and this is the reason for the sedative effect of old cannabis.  And, yet another claim states that as older cannabis ages, monoterpenes evaporate and leave behind sesquiterpenes which are known to have sedative effects, and this is the true cause of the sedation.

We will let you be the judge!
