The Lemon OG cannabis strain, also known as Lemon OG Kush, is an indica-dominant cross between Las Vegas Lemon Skunk and The OG #18. Lemon OG is a skunky indica-hybrid that offers users a heady medicated effect. This strain usually has a mild taste with fruity undertones. The strain is reported to be great for stress relief and increasing appetite.

We don’t have much information on the Lemon OG hemp strain genetics, though they likely consist of one of the original parent strains crossed with a high CBD cultivar. This lemon OG hash rosin seems to have a similar aromatic profile to the original cannabis strain, with skunky and fruity undertones and mild notes of lemon.

CBD rosin is favored by concentrate users for many reasons. The main reason rosin is used so frequently is that it can be made by just about anyone from the comfort of their own home. DIY rosin presses are common and high-quality rosin presses can easily be purchased online; all one needs is material to press.

The fact that no solvents are used to create rosin is another factor in its popularity. Other types of concentrates are extracted using solvents like butane or CO2. If these solvents are not purged correctly, they remain in the extracts and can wind up in your lungs. Most of the time residual solvents aren’t present in large enough amounts to cause any harm based on the research we have available today but using concentrates that never touched a solvent can provide some peace of mind.

Rosin is also extremely concentrated, and, in many cases, has a higher cannabinoid and terpene content than concentrates extracted using a solvent. This is because solvents can strip away cannabinoids and terpenes during the extraction process.

CBD Hash rosin is a form of rosin that is one of the most desirable types of CBD concentrates on the market. CBD rosin is a type of solvent-less hemp extract that is created using only high heat and immense pressure. A rosin press is used to squeeze cannabis or hemp material between two heated plates which forces the rosin extract out of the trichome heads. Cured flower, dry sift kief, and of course hash can all be pressed to create rosin. Hash rosin, or solventless hash oil (SHO), however, has a much higher demand than regular flower rosin or kief rosin.

The rosin produced from pressed hash usually has a lighter, golden color and a richer flavor compared to rosin produced from pressed flower. The cannabinoid & terpene content is often much higher as well. Therefore, CBD hash rosin is an exclusive and highly popular concentrate.

As previously mentioned, rosin in general is highly sought after because it is solventless. Unlike butane hash oil(BHO) and other popular concentrates that are extracted using hydrocarbon solvents, CBD rosin never touches a solvent. This fact alone is highly attractive to health-conscious concentrate users.

Also, while BHO and other hydrocarbon extracts are usually produced in high volume batches, rosin is much more of an artisanal, small batch, craft hemp extract. You may say rosin is the equivalent of a craft beer compared to a Budweiser or Bud Light!

CBD hash rosin is so special because it combines all these great characteristics of regular rosin, with higher cannabinoid & terpene content, better flavor, better color, and often a more desirable consistency as well.

Because hash rosin is pressed from hash, which is essentially just a high concentration of trichome heads, it has a much higher concentration of cannabinoids & terpenes than rosin pressed from flower or even regular dry sift. The higher concentration of cannabinoids in the rosin contributes to more potent effects, and the higher concentration of terpenes contributes to both more potent effects and better flavor.

The color of hash rosin is almost always much lighter than regular rosin. This has a lot to do with the absence of plant material in the hash that is pressed to create it. Another reason for the lighter, often golden color is that lower temperatures are required to press rosin from hash than from cured flower. Lower pressing temperatures generally produce lighter colored rosin. Lighter colored rosin is more desirable among consumers and has come to be associated with better effects and flavor.

In addition to being more potent, having better flavor, and a more desirable color, hash rosin also tends to have a more desirable consistency as well. It is common for rosin pressed from flower to have a very sticky shatter or wax like consistency which can be sort of annoying to work with in some cases. Hash rosin on the other hand often has more of a buttery or sometimes saucy consistency that is easier to handle and manipulate with a dab tool.

Of course, at the end of the day, the quality of rosin whether it is pressed from hash or flower will always be dependent on the starting material that is being pressed. As they say, quality in equals quality out!
