Suver Haze and its child strain Sour Suver Haze are two of the first CBD strains on the market to rival traditional cannabis flower. Read on to learn more about the...

More Info

The Sour Suver Haze CBD hemp strain is a sativa dominant cross of Suver8 and GG#4. It was bred by Oregon CBD and has an average CBD content of 18-19%.
The terpene profile of this unique high CBD strain varies from sour lime and cinnamon to skunky diesel. It seems common for users to either love it or hate it, which seems to be true for many hemp & cannabis haze strains.

Primary terpenes include:

beta-Myrcene: Found in mangos, hops. Responsible for craft beer’s ‘peppery’ finish. Studies have shown that this terpene has potential anti-inflammatory properties.

beta-Caryophyllene: Found in Rosemary, hops, and cloves. Responsible for the black pepper bite experienced when smelling pungent diesel cannabis strains. Contributes to musky and spicy aromas in cannabis also. Studies have shown that it may have the potential to relieve pain and anxiety.

Terpinolene: Found in cumin and nutmeg. Contributes to the ‘fresh’ scent of cannabis. Associated with calming/sedative effects.

If you are one to enjoy the piney, gassy, & skunky profile of Sour Suver Haze, it’s one of the most enjoyable strains of its kind available on the hemp flower market today. Not only is it unique compared to other sativa cultivars but the cannabinoid content provides well balanced effects that can be enjoyed any time of day.

Sour Suver Haze CBD wax was extracted using a hydrocarbon extraction process from Sour Suver Haze triploid hemp flower that was grown indoors by our friends at Hemp Hop. This extraction process separates the cannabinoids and terpenes from the hemp flower using a solvent and concentrates them into a golden wax that is high in CBD and rich in minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

The sweet gas & skunky notes present in the flower are amplified in the wax and the highly concentrated cannabinoid content provides a potent effect. The consistency is a saucy wax that is a bit moister than the dry and airy wax on the market, but less moist than the thick honey BHO wax available in our collection. This makes it perfect for use in a portable vape pen or dab pen, as well as for use in a regular dab rig.

Packaged in a Calyx Container for the best experience possible. These containers feature a plastic anti-stick FEP lid liner which creates an airtight seal, prevents leaks, and allows for easy collection of your wax should it end up on the liner during shipping.

What’s the difference between full spectrum CBD wax and broad-spectrum CBD wax?

Here at Sauce Warehouse, we’re often asked this question. The short answer is full spectrum wax contains THC, broad spectrum wax does not.

However, it is a bit more complex than that. The way these two different types of CBD wax are made is much different and this makes them two completely different products. Unfortunately, many consumers are completely unaware of this, and many CBD vendors are actively trying to take advantage of them and selling subpar (and fake) CBD wax concentrates.

In most cases, broad spectrum CBD wax is fake. That is to say, it isn’t real wax like the wax you would find in a regular cannabis dispensary. It hasn’t been extracted from hemp flower at all, which means the strain name being advertised on the packaging is just a description of the terpenes that have been added to the wax for flavoring. And what’s worse, these terpenes are often not even derived from cannabis or hemp at all, but they have been taken from various plants and mixed to imitate the aroma and flavor of popular cannabis strains. Yikes!

This fake wax is not wax at all. It is CBD isolate and/or CBD distillate that has been manipulated to mimic the consistency of real cannabis wax. Granted, there is nothing wrong with these types of concentrates. To be clear, we are simply against CBD companies marketing these products as if they were real extracts when in fact they are not. Aside from this, they are still great products that can be very useful for individuals who wish to avoid consuming THC. Whether it be to stay clean for drug tests or simply to avoid getting high, broad spectrum CBD wax certainly has its benefits and we offer many options here at Sauce Warehouse.

On the flip side, for those seeking a real cannabis wax experience, full spectrum CBD wax is the way to go. Now, some full spectrum CBD wax out there is also fake. Yeah, we know… there is no shortage of greedy CBD companies out there and it does get very annoying. Fake full spectrum wax is made using full spectrum CBD distillate instead of broad-spectrum CBD distillate. So, while it contains THC and a full spectrum cannabinoid profile it still contains a fake terpene profile, and it is not real wax.

Genuine full spectrum CBD wax that has been extracted from hemp flower directly contains the actual terpenes and cannabinoids present in the flower it was extracted from. This gives real CBD wax the natural flavor and potency found in the flower, which creates an experience far superior to the fake stuff. This is especially true for flavor. Cannabinoids can always be added to distillate to increase potency, but terpenes can never be assembled to create the exact flavor of a specific strain. Many would argue cannabinoids can’t be added to create the exact strain specific ratios either, so at the end of the day, just go with the real deal.

All CBD concentrates available at Sauce Warehouse are 3rd party tested and lab results (COA’s) are available on every product page. Just look for the Certificates of Analysis drop down where you will find links leading directly to the lab results.

The most common type of lab test is a cannabinoid potency test. This test measures the percentages of each cannabinoid present in hemp flower, hemp extracts, and many other types of CBD products. The primary reason for these tests is to ensure compliance with Federal Farm Bill which requires hemp products to contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. However, these tests are also very useful for consumers who want to know the exact cannabinoids they are consuming and the exact dose they are consuming.

The second most common type of lab test is a terpene analysis test. This test is like a cannabinoid potency test but instead of measuring the levels of cannabinoids present, the levels of terpenes are measured. This is just as important for the educated consumer of hemp products who would like to pinpoint and consume specific terpenes for their unique effects.

In addition to these two popular lab tests there are many other tests that can be performed on hemp extracts and CBD concentrates. Microbial tests test for microbial content, residual solvent tests test for residual solvents which can be left behind during the extraction process, pesticides tests will test for pesticides that may have been used in the flower used to create the CBD product being tested. Mycotoxin tests can identify any mycotoxins that may be present in the product. Finally heavy metal tests can ensure that no heavy metals are present. When a hemp product has been subject to all these tests and has a certificate of analysis for each test, it is considered to have full panel test results available.

All these tests are important and in an ideal world they would be available for every CBD product on the market. Unfortunately, the CBD market is still young and unregulated which means full panel testing is not required by any laws just yet. On one hand this allows smaller manufacturers, growers, and processors to pursue innovation at a greater capacity and introduce more products to the market. On the other hand, it allows shady characters in the industry to get away with selling potentially dangerous products.

Our long-term goal here at Sauce Warehouse is to have full panel lab results available for every product. As a new small business sourcing from vendors across the industry, this is not yet possible for us as full panel lab testing is quite expensive. We currently rely in large part on the vendors we source from to have their products tested completely, though few do. The good news, however, is that Sauce Warehouse continues to grow each day with the help of our growing customer base, and we are beginning to offer more concentrates with full panel results. So, if you prefer CBD concentrates with full panel lab results, we are sure to have something available for you.
