The Abacus hemp strain is a indica dominant hybrid cross between OG Kush, Purple Urkel, and a landrace high CBD strain. These indica heavy genetics lend to relaxing effects making the Abacus strain great for winding down after a long day. This CBD strain truly pushes the envelope for hemp flower with its unique terpene profile and frosty purple green buds.

The Abacus CBD strain is a popular choice among processors for making hemp extracts. The dense, resinous Abacus hemp flower buds are perfect for extraction. And, the terpene profile is refreshingly unique when compared to other popular hemp flower strains.

Abacus CBD Live Resin is a golden yellow sauce that is extremely rich in terpenes. Our current batch contains the highest terpene content out of all the terpene profiles on our site at 19.38% total terpenes! Prominent terpenes include β-Myrcene, α-Pinene, 3-Carene, and β-Caryophyllene. Each of these terpenes have their own special characteristics:

• β-Myrcene - Found in thyme, mango, hops, and lemongrass. The most abundant terpene found in modern commercial cannabis. Contributes herbaceous, hoppy, spicy, peppery, citrus, and balsamic notes.

• α-Pinene - Found in plants like mint, basil, and of course, pine trees. Contributes notes of pine.

• 3-Carene - Found in basil, rosemary, bell peppers, and other herbs and trees. It is the primary constituent of turpentine. Contributes notes of pine, cedar, earth, and citrus.

• β-Caryophyllene - Found in many herbs and spices, including black pepper, basil, and oregano. The only terpene known to also act as a cannabinoid and bind with receptors in our endocannabinoid system. Contributes notes of black pepper, cloves, and cinnamon.

HTFSE stands for High Terpene Full Spectrum Extract. Another common term for high terpene extracts is terpsauce. High terpene full spectrum extracts are cannabis concentrates like live rosin or live resin that have higher than average terpene content.
